Founder of Magnetic Sponsoring and Elite Marketing Pro, Tim Erway, Interviews Ray Higdon …

This video is a little bit of a webinar with Ray Higdon and Tim Erway about blogging and traffic. If you don’t know Ray, he’s a great chap. I was fortunate enough to coach him through the process of becoming an author, and I’ve also learnt a huge amount from him about things like mindset and leadership.

One of the things that is crucial to me is authenticity and integrity. Both blogging and video marketing are ways to show the people who follow you exactly who you are and what you’re about. That brings the human element of who you are to the fore. That’s so important. If you don’t have a blog at the moment, really consider getting one. There’s a link in the sidebar if you like the look of my blog, so you can try out what I use. If you aren’t quite ready for that, though, you can use Google+ to blog in real time and get ranked on Google. Seriously. Google loves people posting there.

So, what’s the deal with the free PDF below? Well… I was on the webinar and I realised that only those of us involved with Elite Marketing Pro were there. I thought it would be cool if I could summarise my notes, and put together a little book for my blog readers, so that you could get it too. Of course, for the full webinar, you’ll need to cough up the princely sum of $10. For that, you’ll get a whole stack of other stuff from Magnetic Sponsoring, that you can find out about here, and there’s a money back guarantee. If you just want the PDF, though, right click on the picture below and save it to your desktop.

Look forward to hearing what helped you, in the comments.

Click the book to get your free PDF. Go to 21days.withEMP.com to

for only $10 (while offer is available).

When you do complete a writing goal, be sure to reward yourself. Go to that new movie you’ve been wanting to see, eat a chocolate chip cookie or splurge on a weekend getaway. Acknowledge that you were able to move the mental obstacles and create. Your reward will energize you for your next project.

Sometimes, the best way to beat writer’s block is to write. A number of online communities offer the opportunity to write about an unrelated subject, which can help you take your mind off the writer’s block.

Make sure your work area is ergonomically healthy and well-lit. Choose a chair that supports your spine properly. Physical comfort will encourage productive writing.

    Dear Rebecca,

I’ve been opening your e-mails for some time now and getting inspiration from them. I guess I am in a particularly bad place at this moment and struggling towards a future that may never materialise- but hope springs eternal.

I have completed a film script which – if I get the ‘thumbs up’ from my Reader I will send out to women agents. I am also looking into adapting this into an e-book. Being a technophobe it is going to be extremely difficult for me to sell it on Amazon etc but I am considering going online to find an outsourcer who might wish to market it for a share of the profits…

I am trying to keep positive when there are dark clouds forming all around me because I can see I have a modicum of talent- but getting it out there to share with the world is going to be an almighty obstacle. Just thought I’d share this with you as I don’t really know any fellow writers and don’t know where to go online to find support…

That quote lastly- ‘Today’s mighty oak is yesterday’s nut that held its ground – Anon’ – very much resonates with me and – again- gives me some sort of inspiration and motivation to continue to walk on…

      Hi Linda,

The first step is to stop putting yourself down, or you’ll lose readers. People are looking for experts and people with talent. They have an uncanny knack for believing what you tell them. If you tell them you only have a modicum of talent they won’t think you’re humble, they’ll just believe that you have a modicum of talent. In a market as competitive as the writing market, a modicum of talent is not enough when there are millions of exceptional writers out there. So … start telling people you’re a writer. Don’t qualify it with humble sauce. Just say ‘I am a writer. This is what I write’. It’s up to them to decide how talented you are. Some will think you’re the best thing since pens with cameras on them. Some will think you suck. Happens to ALL OF US. Let them. There are plenty of people in the world who will read your work and love it.

It sounds to me as if you’d benefit from a bit of mindset massage. This will help you. Don’t approach a publisher or agent with your current mindset. Get it right first. It will vastly improve your chances. http://right2write.withrebecca.com

Keep on writing. Keep on moving forward with purpose. You’ll get there. :)

Interesting read Rebecca. Good to read your sincere replies to peoples comments too.
IMO If people are looking at ways to make money online, then don’t keep purchasing those shiny product launches.
I do quite well with surveys. They can be repetitive but quite rewarding. Do not give any money to join them though. They are the scammers!
I like the PDF you are giving as a gift, nice touch. You could build yourself a list by giving this away. Thanks again.
