Coaching Spotlight: Korey Niese – Mindset Tips for Young Entrepreneurs
Just wanted to highlight one of my coaching clients today. What Korey shares here is really powerful. If you want to be a successful entrepreneur, you need to lose the need for other people’s approval. What other people think doesn’t matter.
When I was starting out in Internet Marketing, the industry didn’t exist. Aside from a couple of thousand people worldwide, NOBODY understood it. If I’d held back because everyone told me I was nuts (and if my peers at the time had done the same) we wouldn’t have what we have today. Did it make sense to tell businesses to adopt a ‘pull marketing’ approach and focus on an untested form of media? No. Not if you were a Marketing Director back then. But we stood by our convictions, and people began to move towards our way of thinking over time. Now, Internet Marketing, and the niches that sprung from it such as Social Media, are huge. What ideas are you having today that could be huge in a couple of decades?
If you have great ideas, don’t look for approval. Build the ideas into reality. Approval comes after success. Get out there and create success.
