If you think of business like fishing, would you start fishing in a random bit of water without checking it for fish?
Would you pack bait, or just hope a fish bit your hook for no reason?
You’d pack bait.
So, are you using bait when fishing for prospects, and are you actually fishing where the fish are?
Hoping the fish just jump into your boat is madness. Think about where the people you’d most like to do business with hang out. Think about how you can help them without charging them anything. Give them something free. That’s the ‘bait’.
Then… go fish!
