Attraction Marketing Rule 2 – Be Yourself
Yesterday, I talked about how important it is to lead with yourself rather than the product or company you represent. Check out that post and leave a comment there when you’ve finished here. Obviously, it’s a lot easier to lead with yourself if you know what your SELF actually is.
Think about it for a second.
Who are you?
Write down answers to the following questions, as this is a great starting point for working out what makes you … you.
1/ What most excites you in life? What do you lose track of time when involved in it? Could be to do with business, or it could be something like art or reading or something else. What is it? That’s your passion.
2/ Is that something it would be legal and ethical to do as a business? 😉 If not, that’s not going to be your business. If so, move on to question 3…
3/ If you did that thing as a business, would every day feel like a holiday, or would you prefer to do something else as a business, and keep that as a hobby?
4/ Do you like people? If you like people, you may have a skill for networking and social media marketing. If you’re more of an introvert, you might consider mastering cold traffic strategies to drive people to your new business.
5/ How important is it to you to be successful?
6/ Are you willing to invest both time and money in building your business?
7/ If so, how long will you continue to work towards building a successful online business before you give up? A few weeks, a few months, or as long as it takes?
